The CEO of the Developer Cruise has resigned due to questions over the crash
Self-driving car startup Cruise has said that its CEO Mark Vogt and the Co-Founder Dan Kan have resigned. The resignations comes after Cruise suspended rides for passengers in San Francisco last week, as per reports. GM’s general counsel Craig Glidden has been named as the co-president of Cruise along with Mo Elshenay, who will also become Cruise’s Chief Technology Officer.

Former OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has joined Microsoft as a member of its AI research team, which will serve as a subsidiary of OpenAI. The company’s board has named former Twitch CEO Emmett Shear as the interim CEO. Notably, this comes a month after OpenAI’s President Greg Brockman announced that he was quitting over Altman’s sudden departure from the startup.

American self-driving startup Toyota Cruise has announced that its Co-founder Derek Vogt has stepped down from his position. The move comes after a self-driving vehicle collided with a fire truck while responding to an emergency in San Francisco in October. The incident was the first involving a self-driving vehicle in the US. Cruise said that Vogt’s resignation has been accepted.

X has announced that it has stopped showing ads from pro-Nazi and anti-semitic content that it has previously found. The decision was taken after Media Matters for America said that it found ads linked to pro-Nazi articles on its platform. Earlier, X CEO Linda Yaccarino had said that advertisers would be able to see what their ads were being shown to.
