A new computer is in town. Following months of rumors, Apple has announced a new pair of entry-level laptops, both equipped with Apple’s latest M3 chip. You can pre-order the 13 and 15 inch MacBook Air from Apple for less than a hundred dollars, but they will be shipping on March 8.

Most upgraded MacBooks will come with either a 35W dual port or 70 watt dual-port power supply, while the base 13-inch model will come with a 30W power supply. For $20, you can upgrade your storage to a 35W dual-port or 70W accessory. (The 2022 13-inch had a 67W charger option — in our experience, upgrading to a more powerful option was worth it.)

You can configuration the 13-inch laptop to have 24 mog of ram. You can either buy it with 512 GB of storage or it starts at 1,499. The 24GB laptops have 1 or 2 terabytes of storage and are priced at $1,899 and $2,299.

Two external displays can be supported when the laptops are closed. They come in four colors – starlight, space gray, silver, and midnight – and are more futureproof thanks to a 6 GHz band and wi-fi 6E. The previous midnight models were plagued by fingerprints and the latter shade is designed to reduce them.

You can currently preorder the 13-inch MacBook Air directly from Apple starting at $1,099 with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage. You can get it with an upgraded 512GB of storage for $1,299, 1TB of storage for $1,499, or with 2TB of storage for $1,899. You can get it with just 16gigabytes of storage for $1,299, or you can get 512gigabytes of storage for $1,499,999, or 2 gigabytes of storage for $2,099.
