This is the first time that Waymo will be selling the car as part of its fleet. The Ioniq 5 can charge from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes, Hyundai said.

Social media platform Meta has launched Movie Gen, a tool that uses text to automatically generate videos and edit existing footage. The tool can produce high-definition videos up to 16 seconds long, and Meta claims that it outperforms competitive models in overall video quality. Movie Gen can also generate audio bites, including a baby Hippo swimming around.

Oura has announced its new ‘Oura Ring 4’ smart ring which will have a slimmer design, improved accuracy and more sizes. The company has also increased the size range from 6 to 13. Oura added that the new method improves battery life by up to eight days Depending on the size of the ring, the company said that the larger sizes tend to have better battery life.

A study published in The Journal of Biological Chemistry has confirmed an error that led to one neurons being wrongly labelled as a transmitter type. Researchers used identities published for individual neuronal cell types and built a dataset with 3,025 neurons with known transmitter type assuming Dale’s law applies. They also used cross-brain connectivity comparisons to decide whether to split or merge the type.

Microsoft has launched ‘Copilot Vision’, a feature that allows users to use Copilot’s artificial intelligence (AI) to see and explore their content while they’re away from their devices. Copilot Vision is currently available for a select group of Copilot Pro subscribers in the US. The feature works with websites that are restricted by Microsoft so it doesn’t work on paywalled and sensitive content.
This smart front door can be commanded with a voice command
The Home Depot has launched a smart glass door called Feather River that can be controlled with a voice command. It connects to Home Depot’s Hubspace Smart Home platform, which allows customers to control its products from any smartphone. The Feather River is a pre-hung door that has built-in smart glass and offers four window size options, letting the glass fill up most or half.
