Cells are decoding the mysteries of the human body

Researchers have developed an atlas of 1.6 million human neural organoid cells, which they claim is the largest atlas of any human cell type. It integrates data from 36 single-cell RNA-sequencing data sets, generated with 26 protocols for producing organoid cells from cultured cells. It was built using three machine-learning algorithms developed by the Human Cell Atlas (HCA) consortium.

SpaceX is suing NLRB for violating the Fourth Amendment and the Fourth Circuit in the US Labor Relations.

Millions of phones were used to map the ionosphere

A study has shown that phone-based mappings of the Earth’s ionospheric tec and GPS provide a doubling of the coverage of the ionosphere. The study found that while 14% of the ionosphere was measured by stations alone, 21% was measured by phones alone. Over large portions of the world, phones provide measurements of the ionosphere at times and places missed by monitoring stations.
