Update on the Switch 2 XBOY/YM/YO/Namioka/Geochat/Skychat/Zero Wi-Fi

In a post at 1:15PM ET, the account said, “we expect Switch 2 online pre-orders to be caught up within the hour. It should be arriving soon if you didn’t get a confirmation email. We’re almost back on track thanks for hanging in there.

The Switch 2 has a pair of Joy-Con 2 controllers that can be magnetically attached to the console, as well as a new button called Gamechat, which is a new feature from Nintendo. There is a new dock and Joy-Con grip in the box, along with an AC adaptor, wrist straps and an HDMI cable.

The online listing for the bundle has loaded for me occasionally, but the button for prepayment will be grayed out. One colleague also got the console-only option listing to load, but with a “not available” button in place of a preorder one.

Soon after, I and many others saw error notices that mentioned the web server was down or that the site is experiencing a bad gateway on GameStop’s website, as opposed to Cloudflare notices on the site.
