Rings of Fire: A New Type of Planet and Moon Elliptical. I. At the Bottom of the Ring of Fire, Nearby Cities and Northeastern United States

With all of our worries, it is easy to forget about how fast our planet and moon move. People turning their eyes (and protective glasses) to the skies will behold the rare “ring of fire” spectacle for a fleeting four to five minutes. The term “maximum annularity” meaning “forming a ring” is from a mathematical term. The covering will last up to three hours.

Most areas will experience a partial eclipse, in which only part of the moon covers up the sun, making the star look like it’s had a bite taken out of it.

Several U.S. cities will be in the path of annularity. Theeclipse will be visible in Eugene, Oregon and Albuquerque, New Mexico on the same day. local time and in San Antonio, Texas around 11:52 a.m. local time.

It’s not a good idea to look at the sun or the eclipse through a camera, binoculars or telescope. If you want a keepsake, you can take photos of the event, but ensure you have a solar filter So you don’t damage the camera.

The rad moon is on the rise. The moon will briefly hover before the sun, creating a strange morning light, as well as affecting millions of people. Although the total eclipse won’t be total, it will be a small one since the moon is traveling far away from the sun. It will create an orange outer ring.

There is still a partial ring of fire which can still be seen by people near the path. The sun will be mostly obscured during an eclipse in Las Vegas, Phoenix, Denver, and Houston.
