Earlier this week, Musk said he would sue Media Matters for “knowingly and maliciously” portraying ads next to objectionable material. Media Matters was sued by X after IBM, Comcast and others said their ads were appearing alongside pro-Nazi content.

Former OpenAI CEO Tim Altman, along with former board member Steve Brockman, resigned from OpenAI on Friday hours after Altman was fired. The resignations came hours after Brockman was removed from his position as the company’s chair and replaced by David Shear. Open AI is a venture capital-backed company that focuses on developing artificial intelligence (AI) technology for real-world applications.

Self-driving car startup Cruise has said that its CEO Mark Vogt and the Co-Founder Dan Kan have resigned. The resignations comes after Cruise suspended rides for passengers in San Francisco last week, as per reports. GM’s general counsel Craig Glidden has been named as the co-president of Cruise along with Mo Elshenay, who will also become Cruise’s Chief Technology Officer.

American self-driving startup Toyota Cruise has announced that its Co-founder Derek Vogt has stepped down from his position. The move comes after a self-driving vehicle collided with a fire truck while responding to an emergency in San Francisco in October. The incident was the first involving a self-driving vehicle in the US. Cruise said that Vogt’s resignation has been accepted.
