There is a method of deletion of the 23andMe data

Genetic testing company 23andMe, which filed for bankruptcy earlier this month, has said that its data won’t be deleted. The company said it will retain your personal data for an undisclosed amount of time to comply with its legal obligations, along with limited information related to your account. It added that the actions ofChapter 11 will not affect how it stores, manages or protects customer data.
