The woolly mammoth’s genome might be reconstructed in 3D in order to revive it

A team of scientists has recreated the three-dimensional structure of DNA of an extinct animal in a living cell. It’s believed to be the first time scientists have been able to produce a multidimensional version of the genome of a complex extinct species. The feat was achieved by creating a three-dimensional version of the genome of a woolly mammoth.
