Move over graphene, scientists forge these metals

A team of researchers have developed a technique to make 2D sheets of metal with a low melting point. The researchers used copper, which is heated in a furnace, and hammered and squeezed onto anvil to make sheets of copper. They found it took them seven years to adapt the concept at the nanoscale. The team used the method to make 2D sheets of metal.
