Apple has a new design language called Liquid Glass

Apple unveiled its new augmented reality feature ‘Liquid Glass’, a three-dimensional interface for all its devices, at the company’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) this month. The Liquid Glass aims to create an “immersive experience” on all of Apple’s devices. Apple Chief Executive Tim Cook said that Liquid Glass can be applied to the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

Samsung’s EVP of Electronics and Communications Kihwan Kim said the company’s augmented reality (AR) app ‘Gemini’ is “really that great” for the Android XR. “One thing I’m really confident about, something that’s not just different from before, is that ‘Gemini’ is really that great,” Kim added. He further said the app understands a person’s individual context that opens dozens of different options.

Facebook Co-founder Mark Zuckerberg has said Meta’s voice-controlled smart glasses are better than the “Pro” helmet the company abandoned because it has a really good augmented reality experience. He added that the Meta Quest 3 is better than the “Pro” headset because it has a really good AI experience. Zuckerberg further said that the company is rolling its new products out more slowly than usual.
