Four deaths have caused the Onewheel to be recalled

Self-balancing skateboards maker Future Motion has offered a $100 credit to early adopters of the Onewheel GT model that was recalled over a safety risk. The company has also started rolling out a ‘haptic buzz’ alert function that “riders can hear and feel” when they may be in danger of crashing. It’s rolling out a ‘pro-rated credit’ of $100 to the purchase of new board.
