The Nintendo Switch 2 preorders are expected to open at 11AM
Nintendo has announced that online preorders for Switch 2 have begun. It added that it expects the preorders to be caught up within the hour, adding, “It should be arriving soon if you didn’t receive a confirmation email.” The Switch 2 has a Joy-Con 2 controller that can be magnetically attached to the console. It also has a new button called Gamechat.
The Pro 2 controller and other accessories can be pre-ordered
Amazon and Walmart are offering pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 console with Gamechat and Screen Protector. The bundle includes a console-only carrying case, screen protector, and cleaning cloth. The pre-order is available for $39.99 at Best Buy, Target and Walmart in the US. It comes with two Joy-Con 2 controllers, which can be used to chat with other players.
The Nintendo Switch 2 was brought up by the staffers
Nintendo unveiled its Joy-Cons at its event, and revealed that they’ll be compatible with the Switch 2. They’re about a half-inch Longer and Black, with colour accents on the connection rails and under the analog sticks. There is a new ‘C’ button on the Joy-Cons that is used for a feature called Gamechat that lets you talk to friends using a microphone in the top of the Switch 2.
