Trump addresses an apparent assassination attempt for the first time

Former US President Donald Trump said in an interview that he had been shot at while playing golf in West Palm Beach but the US Secret Service “did a good job” protecting him. The ex-president added that he heard four to five gunshots and was whisked away in a golf cart. He further called the assassination attempt on his life a “rhetoric”.
