Nine employees were arrested during a sit-in protest

Google employees have been protesting against the Israeli government’s censorship of Google Cloud services amid Israel’s conflict with Hamas. A Google Cloud spokesperson said the protests were “part of a longstanding campaign by a group of organisations and people who largely don’t work at Google”. Google Cloud’s Israeli employee Eddie disrupted Google Israel’s managing director at Mind The Tech.
