There were crashes on the Air India flight bound for London

An Air India flight carrying 242 people crashed near Ahmedabad in Gujarat on Thursday after overshooting the runway, the Civil Aviation Department said. At least 22 people were injured in the incident and are being treated at a hospital, an official said. The Boeing 737-400 aircraft had taken off from Mumbai at around 10:15 am and was approaching Ahmedabad when the crash took place.
