The Matter Smart Home Interoperability standard has three thermostats and two HVAC systems. It was designed to be secure, private, easy to set up and widely compatible. It is designed to be a common language for connected devices to communicate locally in your home without relying on a Cloud connection. The installation process for the other two is very similar.
