Why wasn’t the Pentagon briefed by Musk on China war plans?

Elon Musk met the US Joint Chiefs of Staff on Friday as part of his visit to the Pentagon, where he met Defence Secretary Sonny Perdue. Musk is the first person to visit the Pentagon since ex-US Secretary of State John Kerry in 2015. The joint chiefs are the military’s top leaders, including Vice President Mike Pence, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, and Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen.
