Nintendo has released an update for the Switch 2 with a new feature that lets gamers control the console through the Joy-Con 2 controllers. Users will be able to control the console using the Joy-Con 2 controller, which is a larger version of the Joy-Con. Users will be able to use two Joy-Con controllers at the same time.

Amazon and Walmart are offering pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 console with Gamechat and Screen Protector. The bundle includes a console-only carrying case, screen protector, and cleaning cloth. The pre-order is available for $39.99 at Best Buy, Target and Walmart in the US. It comes with two Joy-Con 2 controllers, which can be used to chat with other players.

Microsoft has released a new ‘universal’ wireless controller that can be used across Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Microsoft’s cloud services. The controller is compatible with Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck. The controller also features a gyroscope and magnetic Hall-effect sticks that can be “float-resistant”, similar to the Joy-Con controllers. It’s expected to launch on October 8.
