MSI has introduced a new gaming laptop, the Titan 18HX A14V, with a 14v GPU, an RGB trackpad and AI-based performance profiles that promise to optimise settings based on whether you’re gaming or do other tasks like video conferencing. The Titan 18HX A 14V will be on display at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next year.

MSI has unveiled the Titan 18 HX, a 15.6-inch gaming laptop with an NVIDIA RTX 4080 or 4090 graphics card as well as Intel’s new 14th-generation Core i9 14900HX processor. The laptop has a 24-inch LED-backlit display with 3840 x 2400 resolution and 120Hz refresh. It also has three M.2 SSD slots, three M.2 SSD slots (one of which is PCIe Gen 5).

Apple unveiled its new M3 chips, which are based on a 3nm manufacturing process, that it claims will improve performance in games. Apple claimed that its M3 chip provides the same relative CPU and GPU performance as a 12-core PC laptop at a quarter of the power draw and one-fifth of the power usage. The M3 chips will also be included in two new MacBook Pro models.
