An adult brain has a wiring diagram

A study published in The Journal of Biological Chemistry has confirmed an error that led to one neurons being wrongly labelled as a transmitter type. Researchers used identities published for individual neuronal cell types and built a dataset with 3,025 neurons with known transmitter type assuming Dale’s law applies. They also used cross-brain connectivity comparisons to decide whether to split or merge the type.
