Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has unveiled the ‘Cosmos’, a family of foundational AI models that can be used to train humanoids, industrial robots and self-driving cars. The new system will be on desks of “every data scientist, AI researcher and student”, he said. “Placing an AI supercomputer on the desks of every data scientist, AI researcher and student empowers them to engage and shape AI age,” Huang added.

Sony is asking developers to create a new PS5 Pro-exclusive graphics mode that combines PlayStation’s new PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSSR) upscaling to 4K resolution with a 60fps frame rate and ray-tracing effects, reports said. This is essentially an upscaling answer to Nvidia’s DLSS orAMD’s FSR to improve frame rates and image quality on PlayStation.

Getty Images has partnered with NVIDIA to launch Generative AI, a text-to-image platform specifically designed to make stock photos. The AI can prompt Generative AI by iStock to create a picture of penguins walking through a city street. “Instead of hiring a photographer and finding a flock of penguins, AI can make that for them,” Getty Images’ Chief Product Officer Grant Farhall said.
