PlayStation 5 console is now on sale for $399.99 (27,000) at Best Buy, Target and the PS Store in US. The sale ends on April 30. There are also discounts on PlayStation VR headsets. However, Sony is offering the headset only as part of its ‘Sony Days of Play’ sale that ends on April 30.
Sony is happy to accept less than 60 frames per second in PS5 Pro games
Sony is asking developers to create a new PS5 Pro-exclusive graphics mode that combines PlayStation’s new PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSSR) upscaling to 4K resolution with a 60fps frame rate and ray-tracing effects, reports said. This is essentially an upscaling answer to Nvidia’s DLSS orAMD’s FSR to improve frame rates and image quality on PlayStation.
