Smart shopping carts are the new bet at Amazon grocery stores

Amazon will not be rolling out its smart shopping carts to its Fresh stores in the UK, a spokesperson said. The company is focusing on “selectively” opening new fresh stores and “remodeling the majority of its existing stores”, the spokesperson added. Amazon Go convenience stores and dozens of other smaller shops will still use the technology.
