There is an opinion on the differences between men and women

The third stanza of Shrinks and Wise Folks’ poem, ‘This Be the Verse’, offers the logical conclusion of the earlier two. People aren’t having children because it’s too expensive, they can’t find the right partner so they aren’t having kids, they want to prioritise their careers because of climate change and the idea of bringing a child onto this broken planet is too depressing.
