After North claims a spy satellite launch, South Korea increases its surveillance
South Korea has suspended an inter-Korean agreement to restart frontline aerial surveillance of North Korea after it said the country launched a military spy satellite in violation of UN resolutions. North Korea is under sanctions from the UN over its nuclear and missile tests. However, North Korea could continue to monitor South Korea at all times by operating several such satellites, officials said.
