A Chinese human trafficking victim has told police that he was forced to use Starlink as a mobile phone to contact his family. The victim told police that he had worked at a fraud company and was in the Myanmar-Thailand border region. Police have yet to find any evidence of any crimes against the victim and he is currently in Myanmar.
It’s hard to fully block X in Brazil
Brazil’s Supreme Court has ordered that all internet and mobile service providers in the country block the social media platform Telegram. The court also froze assets of Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s other company Starlink, which is part of the same ‘economic group’ as X. The order follows a months- long dispute between Judge Alexandre de Moraes and Musk over X’s moderation policies.
