Elon Musk-led Tesla has fired hundreds of workers from its superchargers and electric vehicle policy and charging units, a company official said. The firings came after the company rejected $17 million in federal grants to help build its Supercharger network. However, the official added that the terminations were not related to Tesla’s electric vehicle policy or charging units.
