Apple CEO Tim Cook on Monday announced the launch of its AI platform, Apple Intelligence, for mobile devices. The platform is available for iOS users and will be available for Mac users from next month. It will support up to 20 languages, including French, Hindi, Japanese, Spanish and Portuguese, and is being developed with over 200 developers, Cook added.

Apple unveiled its new augmented reality feature ‘Liquid Glass’, a three-dimensional interface for all its devices, at the company’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) this month. The Liquid Glass aims to create an “immersive experience” on all of Apple’s devices. Apple Chief Executive Tim Cook said that Liquid Glass can be applied to the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

Apple CEO Tim Cook has said that the iPhone maker will be able to withstand the trade war between the US and China. “I don’t think it is going to be a huge impact on us because we have half of the sales in the US from India,” he added. Earlier, Cook had said the US and China would face a trade war until they resolve their differences.

Apple CEO Tim Cook said, “Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the rest of us.” The letter ‘AI’ was written in the keynote address at Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference. Cook further said, “It became clear…People wanted to know our views of generative AI in particular.” AI is a subset of machine-learning that aims to identify, predict and train intelligent human beings.

Apple CEO Tim Cook on Tuesday said the company is committed to comply with the US’ Digital Markets Act, which regulates privacy for AI-based products. He added that Apple will comply with all the US’s digital privacy laws, including California’s new Privacy Act, as soon as it’s in place. Cook also talked about the use of Apple’s Vision Pro on flights.

Apple CEO Tim Cook, in an interview with Bloomberg, said one purpose of self-driving cars is to “work on autonomy”. “It’s probably one of the most difficult AI projects actually to work on and so autonomy is something that’s incredibly exciting for us,” he added.
