The US Treasury Department revealed that it was hacked earlier this month, which allowed attackers to remotely access some computers and certain unclassified documents. The department said it took seriously all threats against its systems and the data it held. The US Department of Homeland Security is investigating the attack which was attributed to Chinese state-sponsored culprits.

Amid reports of mysterious drone sightings in the state of New Jersey, the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said that no evidence has been found of foreign involvement or a threat. Federal Aviation Administration had banned flying drones over a golf course owned by US President Donald Trump in Bedminster, New Jersey, and an Army garrison in Wharton.
