Apple has unveiled its latest smartwatch, the Apple Watch Series 10/Ultra 2, priced at $799 (over 6 lakh) and $999 (over 8 lakh) respectively. The Apple Watch Series 10/Ultra 2 features water-related features including new watch faces for when you spontaneously decide to go sailing or kayaking, among other things. The Apple Watch Series 10/Ultra 2 is available from September 20.

It also features new hardware upgrades to make it thinner and lighter. The Series 9 will be available in pre-order via the phone app and WatchOS 11.

Apple has unveiled the new AirPods 4 which comes with H4 chip that allows for better audio quality and a new aluminum finish in black. The new AirPods will be available over the counter later this year. The new device comes in a polished aluminum finish in black, with matte options for rose gold and silver or a titanium finish.

Apple announced its iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max which feature the “best iPhone battery life ever”. The iPhone 16 Pro features a 6.1-inch display, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max has a 6.9-inch display (instead of 6.7-inch displays). Apple also unveiled a new Apple Watch Series 10 which has a larger Wide-angle display and up to 40% brighter.

Fitbit has announced new features for its Pixel Watch 3 and PixelWatch 10, including sleep apnea detection. The company also unveiled a new watch face called Flux that’s larger than its previous ones. The new features also include an altimeter with built-in heart rate sensor, along with an updated sleep detection feature that lets users know if they have sleep apnea.

The Boeing Starliners is returning to an uncertain future
The first test flight of Boeing’s CST-100 Starliner spacecraft, with astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams on board, ended after seven years. The test flight lasted for eight days and had to be extended when some thrusters failed while the spacecraft was approaching the International Space Station. It’s part of Boeing’s contract with NASA to fly astronauts to and from the ISS.
It’s hard to fully block X in Brazil
Brazil’s Supreme Court has ordered that all internet and mobile service providers in the country block the social media platform Telegram. The court also froze assets of Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s other company Starlink, which is part of the same ‘economic group’ as X. The order follows a months- long dispute between Judge Alexandre de Moraes and Musk over X’s moderation policies.
Telegram CEO is going to moderate after being arrested in France
A far-right channel in Germany claimed Telegram CEO Aleksandr Durov’s arrest by French authorities “may have political reasons” and be a tool to gain access to personal data of Telegram users. It added that Durov’s arrest “is likely to lead to mass deportations of people who are not German”. Durov was arrested at Paris’ Le Bourget Airport after the plane he was travelling on was intercepted.

SharkNinja has unveiled a self-raising robot vacuum called ‘Qrevo Curv’ that can lift itself up and over room transitions as high as 40 mm. The robot vacuum is equipped with Roborock’s reactive AI obstacle avoidance tech, which uses a built-in camera to avoid common household clutter. Other features of the robot include two short brushes and a curved FlexiArm Arc side brush.
